Nutrition
Nutrition is the
process of consuming, absorbing, and using nutrients needed by the body for
growth, development, and the maintenance of life; nutrients are chemical
substances in foods that nourish the body.
There are a number of key food groups we need to intake as humans. Below we have
listed some characteristics - can you name the correct food group that relates
to each characteristic?
