Inventory

An Inventory is a complete and full list detailing all the contents within the rental property. In addition the Inventory also details the condition of the contents as well as the general condition of the property. It is a very important document that will protect you from any future disputes with your landlord.

Ensure that all separate pages have the address of the property clearly marked and whilst you need to sign the bottom of the document we would suggest that you at least initial each page.
Remember that at the end of your tenancy another Inventory is taken and this will be compared to the original Inventory. This is where most disputes will arise and it may lead to the loss of your deposit!!
