History
The centre
was originally built in 1909 and had refurbishments
in 1988 to become a multi activity centre
giving
‘a new lease of life to one of Bude's most historic and prominent
buildings’.
Location
The centre was originally built in 1909 and had
refurbishments in 1988 to become a multi activity
centre. The centre is located overlooking the sea, river,
and canal. Only a short distance away a 140ft abseil
along the cliffs can be found. Activities are never
too far away taking place either on site or a stones
throw away.
There are 75 bedrooms in the centre all of which are
ensuite and contain colour television and video.
When not participating in the adventure activities
on offer there are many other forms of entertainment
including
football on the astro-turf, basketball, volleyball,
table tennis, pool and video machines in the games
room or you may prefer to relax in the bar.
There are many bars, clubs and restaurants locally to
enjoy along with tennis and squash courts to hire
and an outstanding golf course! There are also
tourist attractions such as Tintagel Castle, which
is just a short drive away. |
