Collecting your car
When collecting your car ensure that you have the relevant documentation:

• Driving licence (both parts for customers with a UK driving licence).
• Major Credit Card.  (Please note if you have been issued with a voucher you will still be required to leave a deposit on your credit card. Cash / Cheques and Debit cards are usually not acceptable.)
• Reservation confirmation details.
• Passport, plus one other form of I.D. (utility bill)

Vehicle standards
Budget aim to ensure that all vehicles they offer are cosmetically and mechanically sound. If the vehicle you are hiring does not seem to meet the standards or the criteria speak to a member of staff, to enable them to address the situation prior to leaving.


Pre-rental inspection
Customers are also given a pre-inspection form which they are required to fill out and sign. The document should detail minor scratches or dents, it is important to check for any damages that have not been noted on the form as you are held liable for any damages found and have not been noted.


Fuel Options
Some locations offer different fuel policies, normally you will be supplied with a full tank of fuel however there are other options.


Option One
Pay in advance for the fuel and bring the vehicle back empty. The location will fill the tank at, or sometimes below, the current retail pump price. Credits will not be given for unused fuel.


Option Two
If you are not sure how far you will be driving, but plan to stop for fuel, we recommend that you do not pay Budget in advance for fuel and bring the car back full to avoid any refuelling service charges.


Option Three
If you won’t be using a full tank and don’t have time to stop for fuel, pay us only for the fuel that you use. Please note that this will be based on the rental locations per- litre refuelling service charge. The location staff can advise how much the service charge is.


Special Equipment
A range of special equipment such as child safety seats and ski racks etc are available from many different locations, if you do wish to hire any equipment it is advisable to ask at the time of booking. Your local reservations officer can help with any special equipment you require which is not listed.


Business Renter
Budget has specially designed services aimed at the regular business renter including Fastbreak and Budget Business Club. Their car rental services are found globally along with real local service.

Fastbreak

Fastbreak is a priority service which is available when customers quote their unique RapidRez number (BCN) when making their reservation. Enrolling in Fastbreak is free. Simply review the Global Master Rental Agreement and complete the international application form. Upon successful completion of your application, you will receive your RapidRez Number (BCN) that will enable you to begin using the Fastbreak service immediately.


Budget Business Club
Even Small businesses need to manage their travelling budget, the Budget Business Club is designed especially for smaller companies. Services The Budget Business Club offer includes:
• Preferential rates – discounts off Budgets standard rental rates
• Fastbreak – avoid the form filling and go directly to your car (at participating locations)
