About Eden Springs

Eden Springs use water extracted from private springs that are dedicated to our own use, and are environmentally protected. As a member of the BWCA (Bottled Water Cooler Association) and the EPDWA (European Point of Use Drinking Water Association) we are subject to stringent quality standards that are externally audited annually in our bottling plants and our branches.

Internal Quality Assurance
Our fresh bottled water is supplied to you in either 18.5 litres of 11 litre bottles, subject to your requirements. Both size options have handles for easy lifting, and are fitted with tamper evident seals for total safety and hygiene. Our water is laboratory tested hourly and meets all government and industry standards for bottled water. We have quality mangers based in our production plants that are responsible for ensuring that the water we produce is 100% quality guaranteed.

In 2003 Groupe DANONE and EDEN SPRINGS signed an agreement to create a joint venture, bringing together both groups' current and future HOD activities within Europe.

Eden Springs’ History
Eden Springs started its activities in Israel in 1982. Listed at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, the company achieves a turnover of 144 million Euros. It is today the local leader both in the HOD - with approximately 150’000 water coolers - and in PET.

The activities of Eden Springs Europe ( company subject to the present Joint venture with Groupe DANONE ) began with the opening of the Polish market in 1997.

The Swiss market was the next to be targeted and was to witness the installation of Eden Springs’ European Head Office in Lausanne.

Further acquisitions rapidly followed (approximately 20 acquisitions over the last four years) accompanied by organic developments in different countries. In 2002 the integration and consolidation of 10 acquisitions were finalised.

Today Eden Springs operates in 13 European countries: Switzerland, France, Spain Greece, Poland, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Ukraine, and supplies approximately 180 000 clients under the Eden brand with a multi-source approach.

These acquisitions and internal growth supported by a recognised business model and operational system along with its expertise in terms of service have allowed Eden Springs to reinforce its natural position as leader in the European water cooler business.
