EquiLift Limited, formally part of the multi-national ThyssenKrupp group, is a key player in the accessibility industry and has been installing lifts since 1947.

Now, as an independent company, we are responsible for the supply, installation and maintenance of public access products such as wheelchair platforms, stairlifts and vertical lifts. Our product line-up includes the StairGlide range of domestic chairlifts and the market leading lift for curved stairways, Flow. EquiLift’s products are renowned for improving the lives of thousands of people, who use wheelchairs or have difficulties using stairs.

The Disability Discrimination Act, altered in 2004, means that all shops and public buildings in the UK have to be accessible to those in wheelchairs. At EquiLift, we work together with businesses to help them comply with these regulations without having to make drastic alterations.

EquiLift is a member of the Lift & Escalator Industry Association (LEIA), the trade association for the lift industry, which safeguards customers when purchasing commercial wheelchair lifts and home stairlifts.
