The GG Club
The GG Club was launched at
Goodwood Racecourse on Sunday 30 June 2001. It is Goodwood’s
Horseracing Club for the younger generation of racegoers and is the
first of its kind in the UK. It has been specifically designed to make
racing fun and attract a younger audience.

John Reid MBE is president
of the GG Club. He retired from race riding in 2001 following a career
which spanned almost 3 decades. John Reid rode his first winner at
Goodwood in May 1973 on Eyry. He went on to win four British Classic
races including the 1992 Derby on Dr Devious. |
