Fourth Disease
Fourth Disease also goes by the names of 'Three-day fever' and 'Roseola Infantum'.
It is common in babies under twelve months old. Fourth Disease starts with a high fever lasting for three or four days. As the temperature drops a red spotty rash will appear on the body.
The rash will spread for around a day before subsiding and then fading.
What to do

Encourage your child to take fluids, preferably water or squash.
Consult your pharmacist for a syrup that will help reduce fever and temperature and use as instructed.
