Motivating kids to make
healthy lifestyle choices.
We believe the best way to make kids understand and
feel their power is to lead by inspiration and
example. With a mixture of music, movement, humor
and interactivity, LAZYTOWN has the ability
to draw kids into a slightly exaggerated version of
their own world.
In this fresh cartoon-coloured town, they can’t help
but engage in the imaginative stories, relate to the
characters that make them laugh and be WOW’d by a
sport super-hero who has the ability to make even
ordinary things exiting.
What kids learn in LazyTown stays with them long
after they leave – making their lives better and
your job as a parent or teacher just a little bit
easier. We know that LazyTown resonates because
raising healthy and well – adjusted children is an
objective we share with parents and teachers
everywhere.
Healthy lifestyle through entertainment.

The
characters serve as simple, metaphorical
guides for children and their parents. We
all know that learning is what happens when
you are enjoying yourself. So, we want kids
to experience joy. And we want them to be
motivated through characters and stories
that will encourage them to depend on and
trust their own insights and good judgment
in their own lives.
LazyTown is designed to give kids the power
to GO! Play, move dance, sing, make new
choices and feel really good about them.
In the show, Stephanie, an optimistic girl
with bright pink hair, comes to LazyTown and
meets its zany mix of townspeople including
the worlds laziest super-villain, Robbie
Rotten. Fortunately for Stephanie LazyTown
is also watched over by Sportacus, an
athletic, super-fit super-hero who runs,
jumps and flips his way across LazyTown
while helping the inhabitants battle
Robbie’s latest schemes.

The other kids of
lazy town are curious, playful and like Stephanie,
actively engaged in figuring our their world. Each
has strengths and weaknesses, just like real kids.
These kids symbolize the challenges and
opportunities that real kids face in everyday kid
life. Ziggy likes candy just a little too much;
Stingy just can’t seem to share; Pixel is glued to
video games; Trixie finds it difficult to follow
rules; and Stephanie has trouble navigating between
making a healthy choice or opting for the easy way
out.
LazyTown may have the laziest name on television,
but its jam-packed with action, energy, and a
powerful message that tells kids “they can do it.
Our principles are based on a desire to make high
quality children’s entertainment without violence –
but with all the action humor and endless
possibility that engages and inspires – giving
children and parents a healthy model for every
aspect of their lives.
