About Us
In 1993 David Griffiths BSc, MSc set up Monitor Educational
Services as a medium for providing training and consultancy in
school timetabling. He did so in the belief that after 30
years of teaching, in the UK and abroad, and 10 years of
timetable construction in a big school he had an
accumulation of experience and expertise which others would
value. In addition to 25 years of school management he
acquired a wide range of experience in curriculum
development and examination. He wrote his own software for
school administration and timetabling before giving way to
commercial packages such as SIMS, which he established in
his school. Now free from the routines of school life he is
able to devote his energy to providing timetabling advice to
the current generation of managers. This he does via a
programme of training courses for MES and other providers,
school based INSET and consultancy advice.
