Mapping Skills

Mapping Skills is a skill-and-drill program that uses Ordnance Survey map extracts to teach map reading.

Map extracts for the following scales are used:

  • 1:10 000
  • 1:25 000

The program is interactive and varied. The students are given hints and tips; the program can be set to correct the student's work and all their results can be stored so that a teacher can check on the progress of the class.

A full manual, Quick Tour, Reference Sheet and work sheets are in the
Manuals folder on the CD.
