Pfizer
is known throughout the world as the ‘premier research
based pharmaceutical company’ since Pfizer Inc and
Pharmacia Corporation combined operations on 16 April
2003, bringing together two of the worlds
fastest-growing and most innovative companies. Pfizer

the US by two German immigrants, Charles Pfizer and

students.
Pfizer also have an additional website the Pfizer
Learning Lab, the site aims to offer educational
information to parents, students and teachers. The
Academic Liaison team at Sandwich works closely with
students and teachers in schools and colleges to
encourage an interest in science. Teaching resources
are available for teachers to use such as lesson plans
and online interactive resources. The ‘Student Zone’
contains details regarding careers and work experience
with Pfizer, welcoming students to experience Pfizer.
The ‘Parent Zone’ offers advice and information on how
parents can encourage science at home with their
children, along with details on the Pfizer science
events and fairs and activities that the whole family
can get involved with.
