The Post Office offers competitive exchange rates on foreign currencies and American Express Travellers Cheques, The Post Office do not charge any commission, except on sterling American Express Cheques.

The Post Office have an online ordering facility, to order foreign currency notes and American Express Travellers Cheques for collection at one of over 1700 'on demand' Bureau de Change Post Office branches. The maximum amount of foreign currency notes you can order is £3,000 if you order online and £500 if you order over the phone. The maximum amount of American Express Travellers Cheques you can also order is £3,000 if you order online and £500 if you order over the phone. If you're paying by credit or debit card remember to bring a valid passport or driving licence as identification. Personal cheques are only accepted with a cheque guarantee card.
