Canned drinks are part of our every day lives
Five billion of them are sold in the UK every year and each one could be recycled back into a ‘new’ can over and over again, saving energy, raw materials and waste.

Aluminium can recycling can also earn cash for collectors – there’s £30 million available via ‘cash for cans’ centres.
 


About Aluminium
Aluminium occurs in various chemical forms in most rocks and soils, vegetation, water and as in the air, and is one of the most important and versatile metals used today. We may not be aware of it, but aluminium as a metal is present in every aspect of our everyday lives.
