Event Management
Talk
Tower Bridge hosts over 110 private and
corporate events every year in its four
venues.
The events team is required to build and
maintain strong relationships with its major
stakeholders, including customers, caterers,
florists, advertisers and other bridge
staff. The speaker will be able to discuss
how the events team manages these
relationships. She will also talk about the
importance of monitoring the success of
marketing campaigns and exploring emerging

Customer
Service Talk
Tourism is a service
industry. The quality of a tourist’s
experience is dependent upon the
quality of interaction they have
with the service provider. At
Tower Bridge, customer-facing staff
are integral to the enjoyment
visitors have at Tower Bridge. For
this reason, quality-controls have
been implemented to ensure that
visitors are offered a high-standard
of customer care. This talk will
impress upon students the need to
not only meet but exceed customer
expectations in order to generate
repeat business and positive
word-of-mouth recommendations.
Customers’ needs are considered at
all levels of the business, from the
usability of Tower Bridge’s website to a fast-track entry system for groups. |
