HOW TO SIGN A GUESTBOOK

When you sign a guest book, you have to fill in a form using the mouse and the keyboard.  

There are lots of different types of forms, so let’s find out how to fill them in…

1)      TEXT BOXES – These boxes let you type in words (which could be your name or comments about the site).  They are very easy to use.

Just click inside the box with your left mouse button and start typing…

2)      TICK BOXES – Tick boxes are even easier to use.

There might be lots of choices on the form, and you will be asked to choose one or more of them.  To choose one, just click inside the box with the left mouse button and a tick will appear.

3)      BUTTONS – Buttons are like Tick-boxes, but you can only choose one thing.  To make your choice, just click inside the circle so that a small black dot appears.

4)      DROP-DOWN MENUS –There may be lots of choices in a drop-down menu.

To choose on of these, you just have to click on the small arrow (which is pointing down).  The choices will then appear, and you should click on one of them.  The choice will then appear in the box next to the window.

When you have filled in the different parts of the form, you should click on the button, which is normally at the bottom of the page. It will normally say one of the following words;

Send

Submit

Sign Guestbook

If you have made a few mistakes, and you want to start again there is normally a button, which allows you to do this. It will say the following;

Reset

Or Clear Page
