Pityriasis Rosea

Pityriasis Rosea is a mild skin disease, most prevalent in females aged 10-30. The first symptom is normally a rash found on the body which is red in colour. The shape is normally round or oval which helps to distinguish it from other skin complaints. There is normally one large patch (rash) which is then followed by the appearance of other smaller legions. The cause of Pityriasis Rosea is not known and there is no specific medical treatment for it. The rash will appear over the course of a week to ten days and can take over six weeks to clear
completely.

What to Do

Consult your doctor.
Apply some cream to reduce irritation and scratching.
