Dolphin EasyTutor has been designed to allow students with dyslexia to
choose a way to read and write that suits them best. Computer users can
write, read, view and check text, making it the perfect solution for
people who have difficulty reading, writing and spelling.
By adding a simple, easy to read toolbar to your common Microsoft™
applications, such as Word®, Excel® and Internet Explorer®, Dolphin
EasyTutor will read back all text information from your PC screen.

Dolphin EasyReader – DAISY software reader
Dolphin EasyReader is a simple to use software reader that will play back
DAISY Digital Talking Books (DTB), such as those created using Dolphin
EasyProducer. DAISY books are particularly beneficial in education for
students with sight problems, emerging readers or those with reading
difficulties, such as dyslexia. They provide a connection between the
spoken word and the corresponding text, whilst listening to the narrator.
They also allow developing readers to "point and click" on specific text
to hear words or phrases that should be practiced or remembered. By
uniting the text and the audio in a single DTB, blind students can listen
to the audio element, whilst those with print problems can listen to the
audio as well as see the corresponding text. Language study students and
students where English is their second language, will also benefit
significantly from the combined text and speech within the DAISY book.
Dolphin EasyScan – Hard copy print converter
Dolphin EasyScan effectively takes your computer and scanner and turns
them into a hard copy print conversion machine. Print impaired and
visually impaired students can take printed text documents and place them
on the scanner and then EasyScan will convert the text into an electronic
text document or Braille file. The electronic text document can be easily
adjusted, saved, edited and printed. Alt tagging can be included within
the electronic document as descriptions for images and maths formulae.
Then using Dolphin EasyProducer quickly convert the electronic document
into MP3 or full DAISY.
