About Us

Employment4students was setup in 2000 to help students find part-time and full-time work, in order to reduce the financial struggles of completing their education.

Employment4students has now developed into an online student job board where thousands of students, all at different stages of their education visit regularly for advice and to find job vacancies that best suit their requirements.

The Gap Year category has been designed to help you search for temporary, short-term and contract jobs that can be done in a Gap year or extended period of time off. This is ideal for those who are looking to work and travel, work for a year before beginning their studies, or those who are just after some temp work after graduation. The Gap year work in this category can be full-time or part-time, but is all on a short contract basis of up to a year. Examples of job vacancies found in this section include:

Internships / Placements

Internships can act as an important stepping stone from your studies at university to a full-time job in your preferred industry sector when you graduate. Also known as work placements, internships enable you to gain valuable work experience that can be advantageous when applying for competitive graduate vacancies. Internships are generally undertaken whilst candidates are still studying and run during the holiday periods. Summer Internships make up the majority of all internship opportunities with the length of schemes varying between two and ten weeks to ensure they do not interfere with term-time studies.
