Harbour Park and the Look & Sea Centre are located on the east bank of the River Arun in the traditional maritime town of Littlehampton, West Sussex. With wide grass picnic areas, sandy beaches, working harbour and breath-taking surroundings it is an ideal place for an educational day out. School days out in Littlehampton offer every child the chance to explore maritime Britain in a friendly, hands-on environment. Visitors will be amazed by this unique town’s long history and the stories behind its geographical changes and people.

Harbour Park and the Look and Sea Centre have teamed up to offer you a great educational day out. Littlehampton therefore welcomes you to explore its marine life and ambience, as the harbour is still in use and hosts an active fishing community. So come on down and enjoy the interactive exhibitions, the views, the riverside walk, the sandy beaches and some light-hearted entertainment. Let us show you why the Edwardians referred to Littlehampton as 'The Children's Paradise'!

The park area itself is shrouded in history, as a working mill once occupied the site, and during refurbishments one of its original mill stones was unearthed, which can now be viewed by the Park’s Fantasy Ride. Additionally, the Sharkesville Golf Course has its own tale; it is built on the site of an old Fort Battery which was constructed in 1759-1760 in order to protect the harbour. Only a stones-throw away from the sandy beaches and river mouth, Harbour Park offers the perfect base to further explore Littlehampton’s educational venues and natural surroundings.
