Welcome to teh Sport Abroad Sports Division. We look forward to arranging your next tour. 

In 2002 we will be concentrating on South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the Caribbean, as they 
are great destinations for young people. You can combine your chosen sport with meeting
new friends, seeing wonderful countryside and experiencing a whole new culture.

South Africa - Prices from £899 for 12-14 days

Rugby - Hockey - Netball

We have something very special to offer you in South Africa

Each July we hold a Sports Festival in Cape Town where schools from the United Kingdom 
meet South African schools to play hockey, rugby and netball. We combine the Festival 
with a packed itinerary to show you part of one of the most beautiful countries in the 
world. A unique experience for any young person.

Our tour in 2002 departs on 14th July and returns on 29th July. For more details take a

If you are unable to participate in the festival, we would be happy to arrange tailormade 
tours to South Africa.

Barbados

Circket - Hockey - Netball

If beaches and sunshine are more your scene, then Barbados may be the answer. Cricket is high 
on the list in Barbados having produced some of the most famous cricketers in the world, notably 
Sir Gary Sobers. Cricket is played throughout the yeear and the domestic season runs from May to December.

Hockey and netball are very popular in Barbados and games can be organised at all levels.

We can arrange sightseeing by coach, cruises and help with any other events you would like to 
include in your tour.

Sri Lanka - From £899 for 12-14 days

Cricket

Sri Lanka is a tropical island at the toe of India with mystical ancient cities, thick jungles, 
and miles of palm fringed sandy beaches. It is one of the most scenically interesting islands 
in the world in our opinion. It offers excellent value and the people are very hospitable
indeed. The people of Sri Lanka live for their sport, particularly cricket. The England team 
were on tour in Sri Lanka in 2001. With good quality hotels and good service, Sri Lanka is an 
ideal destination for combining sport with culture.
