AFS Intercultural Programmes UK

AFS is a long established international non-profit network of over 50 national organisations with more than 60 years experience in this field. AFS is one of the world’s largest voluntary organisations providing over 11,000 participants with an intercultural learning experience each year. Cultural immersion provided by AFS fosters intercultural learning opportunities to help people develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world. It is the only organisation of its kind to receive a citation from the United Nations in recognition of its services to world youth.
