AHAVA is an internationally renowned Skin Care

The History
For over four millennia, creams and lotions have captured the
cosmeceutical gifts of Dead Sea minerals. King Solomon presented the Queen
of Sheba with Dead Sea salts during her visit to the Holy Land and, rumour
has it, that Cleopatra's outstanding beauty owed itself to the
skin-rejuvenating properties of these almost miraculous salts.
In modern history, two of the Dead Sea Kibbutzim, Mitzpe Shalem and Ein
Gedi, formed a Co-operative in the 1970's to mine and process the
mineral-rich Dead Sea Mud. In 1984, the company developed a method of
suspending a more concentrated formulation of Dead Sea minerals together
with herbal essences extracted from local plants and grasses in stable
emulsions - which up until this point had proven extremely elusive. This
was the beginning of AHAVA. |
