Our staff are there to
help our Gap Year “Seasonaires” do their season smoothly and provide
information and advice, yet they are never too intrusive and naturally
allow our guests total freedom to enjoy themselves! |

Our chalets are full of
likeminded Seasonaires whose prerogative is to find Gap Year work in
the ski resort, gain an instructor’s qualification or simply
concentrate on honing their skiing or snowboarding skills for the
season!
The chalet environment
brings a group of likeminded Gap Year Seasonaires together and under
one roof.
These are Gap Year
Seasonaires (largely British) who are intent on sharing a secure and
valuable experience together in a foreign yet friendly environment
away from home.
We can offer fully
catered or self catered seasons in high end chalets or apartments in
central locations across French and Canadian ski resorts. We will help
with all the paper work required to allow you to stay in resort for
long periods of time and also any Visas, travel requirements and
insurance needs for getting your Gap Year ski season organised.

Instructor
Qualification
Why not gain an internationally recognised Ski or Snowboard
instructor’s qualification during your season away that could qualify
you to start teaching in countries such as England, Australia and
Canada?
This option is offered
at our Whistler chalets, from which we can help you gain a CASI
instructor’s qualification with a programme run from Whistler by our
associate and head coach Greg Daniels.

Ski resort Jobs
We can help our Seasonaires get properly (and legally!) set up in
resort so that they can start to find local work.
We will provide the
accommodation and all the help and advice for our Seasonaires to do
their season as cheaply and safely as possible and in well appointed
homes with a season community of likeminded Gap Year Students.

Many of our Gap Year guests
choose work a season "our way" - e.g. they organise a season's
accommodation with us, we help with all aspects of travel and do all the
inhabitants paperwork, and then this leaves them free to go out and find
jobs in resort. The
great thing about doing a ski season “our way" is that help is on hand and
your accommodation is secure and good quality, and you are not at the
mercy of a Tour Operator or a French employer or in a grotty room miles
away from the fun and action! The problem with working for Tour Operators
is that apart from working 8 hours a day, they can send you home any time
they wish because you are on a temporary work contract. If this happens
you can end up with no job in a busy ski resort during mid season with no
accommodation....And then you will have to go back to the UK…
Getting your accommodation secure in the first place means that you can
pick up and put down work at your leisure once in resort and not allow it
to bite into your ski or ride time. Plus temporary and cash in hand work
pays a lot better than any 8 hour day job with a Tour Operator!
