There are many
adults who keep their literacy problems a secret partly through
feelings of embarrassment. These adults have often tried school and
college programs without success. Adults who use A.R.R.O.W.
confirm it achieves success far beyond their previous experience. A.R.R.O.W. gives the adult an opportunity to work either in groups
or individually. Any A.R.R.O.W. individualised learning can, for
some, help ease any fears they may have of joining a class of other
adults with literacy and/or communication problems.

Adults
have used A.R.R.O.W. in Job Training Centres, The Royal
Navy, Royal Marines, Royal Air Force and additionally,
within the home. The adults have commented on how quickly
their literacy skills improve with A.R.R.O.W. and it is
commonly observed that adults make much faster reading,
writing and spelling progress than previously. |
 |
A.R.R.O.W. advises
that a first course of 8-10 hours, sometimes less, will immediately
improve adults reading, writing, spelling, speech and listening
skills. The course can be split into short 20 minute slots that are
delivered 4-5 times per week. A total of perhaps three 8 hour
interventions are required to make the most of an adults’ learning
skills.
Further information regarding A.R.R.O.W. may be found at a local
college, or if A.R.R.O.W. is not being used there, help can be given
by an A.R.R.O.W. regional tutor or through a distance learning
project.
