The National Motor
Museum has over 250 vintage, veteran and classic cars from World Land
Speed Record Breakers and Formula 1 racers to family cars of the 70s
and 80s. Jack Tucker’s Garage recreates the sights, sounds and smells
of a country garage from the 1930s while a ride on ‘Wheels’ is a
fascinating journey through 100 years of motoring history. Don’t miss
the James Bond Experience featuring the Lotus Submarine Car, recently
voted the nation’s favourite film car.
In Palace House, home
of the Montagu family since 1538, tales from the Butler, Cook and
housemaids give a fascinating insight into the workings of a Victorian
household. The 13th century Abbey features an Exhibition and film of
the life of its Cistercian Monk founders while The Secret Army
Exhibition tells the story of wartime Beaulieu and the training of
secret agents. |

grounds on the high-level Monorail or the 1912 open-topped London Bus.
Take a leisurely stroll in the gardens or on the pathways beside the
Monks’ Mill Pond. Enjoy a meal in the Brabazon Restaurant which offers a
full range of refreshments.

Education at Beaulieu
The Beaulieu Estate offers an exciting range of educational programmes
as varied as its 800-year history. Beaulieu can offer something for
every group, including pre-school, those with special educational
needs, students and adult groups. Subjects covered include history,
science, art, design and technology, geography, leisure and tourism,
English and maths.
Visiting groups have access to the superb lecture theatre and spacious
classroom. Programmes are hosted by friendly, knowledgeable and
experienced staff and can be adapted to different age groups and for
particular interests.
