www.britishjobs.net

About us:
BritishJobs.net is a unique Job search site which links up recruitment agencies and employers across the country to find jobs for you in your local area. BritishJobs recognised the problem of diverse and disjointed job postings and decided to grid the United Kingdom by existing County and Town borders. By doing this we have over 500 job portals that will lead you to 'Jobs you want, where you live'. With 8 specialist websites including Teach4us, we believe we have created the best possible platform for candidates seeking employment and companies seeking employees.

History:
BritishJobs.net was founded in October 2001 as www.essexjobs.net. With over 30 years knowledge in the recruitment industry, Graham Miles, MD of Britishjobs.net saw a gap in the market which would bring independent agencies together, with the goal of improving the recruitment process. This was so successful in its first year that agencies across the UK asked for other counties to be set up and thus the Britishjobs network was born.

What we do:
With over 1000 agencies and employers advertising over 24,000 vacancies across the UK in all industry sectors, candidates are able to find and apply for the position with the click of a button.

As a candidate you have the ability to search vacancies by searching on the relevant regional website or by using the simple search box. Once a vacancy is found you are able to read the job specification and then apply sending your CV and application to the employer concerned. If you would prefer to speak to a consultant then the agencies details are listed as well which gives you the freedom to gain more information and follow up any applications. With the ability to register on the website as a candidate you can improve you chances of finding the perfect job. This gives you the option of uploading your CV, which means the recruiter will be doing the work for you and setting up a 'Jobs by Email' account which will send you new job alerts daily depending on your requirements.

As an employer we give recruiters access to post vacancies and CV search. This gives them the tools to place the best candidates in the right roles.

Our specialist website lists all our teaching & training vacancies placed by advertisers, easily sorted by location. As a teaching professional you will easily be able to view and apply to positions in your local area. With all the Schools and Colleges using Infomat having the ability to post jobs and search CVs this will be the best and exclusive way to find a new position.

The advantage for Schools and colleges is that for just £100 per annum, you will have the luxury of advertising your vacancies to literally thousands of professionals looking for work.

Graduates and School leavers:
We cover all industry sectors, but we also include a special area for Graduates to apply for vacancies. With most positions requiring work experience, this is the best area to find vacancies for the first time job seeker. Graduate training schemes give you a solid background in the working environment and mould you to progress throughout the company.

What we are offering:
As a candidate looking for work, you can use all our services free of charge.
As a School or College, we would like to offer our services for free, with only a nominal fee for administration purposes. Therefore our price would be fixed at £100 + VAT per annum, giving you the ability to post unlimited vacancies and search CVs from the database throughout the year. Primary and infant schools will also be able to use this service for free.

We will be looking to make you a considerable saving in your recruitment budget.
