The British Red Cross helps people in crisis
whoever and wherever they are.
At the heart of the British Red Cross’ education
programme is helping young people learn about and understand the
world, and our shared humanity. Our aim is to encourage young
people to respond to those in crisis – we call this humanitarian
action – in order to save lives and reduce suffering.
We offer a range of innovative packages designed
to support teachers in the classroom. Our products have a direct
relevance across a number of school subjects and link into the
citizenship, personal, social and health curricula.
We want to make life easier for teachers. All our
teaching materials are easy to use and equip educators with the
knowledge and confidence to deliver them.
Build a generation of
life-savers – teach first aid

Imagine how many lives could be saved if everyone
learnt first aid at school.
First aid is a basic life skill that every young
person can learn. It is also now something every teacher can
teach.
Our
Life. Live it. First Aid Education Kit
enables you to teach
first aid in your school. It does not require any previous first
aid experience. The kit is a fun and easy way to help students
learn the basics and has been produced as part of the Award
winning
Life. Live it. campaign to inspire young people to learn
first aid.
The kit is ideal for Key Stage 3 PHSE/ PSE,
however it can easily be adapted for other age groups and in
subjects including Science, Physical Education and Design and
Technology. The kit includes an interactive CD ROM, packed with
resources including Power Point lessons, video and audio clips
and an interactive quiz, as well as practical materials to
enable students to practice.

price... there can be no question that this piece of kit is
