What Do We Offer?
Burleigh Travel takes the hassle and headache out of
planning a sports tour. We provide a fully inclusive service by
organising
suitable accommodation, travel arrangements, fixtures, sightseeing trips
and insurance together with a full range of tour merchandise to
commemorate your trip. We also appreciate the part that teachers play and
in recognition assist with risk assessment forms and include free places
for staff members together with a wide range of incentives. For example we
are currently offering a
luxury spa weekend for two in the Cotswold's to relax you prior to
embarking on one of our tours.

You may wish to embark on a three week, 3 centre tour
to Australia as
Leicester Grammar School
(Below - Rugby, Hockey and Netball)
did,
or as
Chew Valley School(Right
- Rugby and Hockey) did.
Here competitive sporting fixtures were combined with
a variety of educational and sightseeing trips such as a tour of the
Olympic Stadium in Sydney and trips to the Great Barrier Reef.
Good quality hotel accommodation was combined with Billets
for the pupils to ensure the cultural elements of the country visited were
appreciated.
Barbados
is also a popular destination for all core sports. The
John Fisher School from Purley participated in a cricket coaching
session run by Gordon Greenidge and Desmond Haynes on the island.
Netball is also very popular on the island and Widness &
Runcorn 6th Form College enjoyed a very successful tour
arranged by Burleigh Travel last year and are now preparing for a trip to
Canada, also to be arranged by ourselves.
Colstons Girls School from Bristol will be showing off
their hockey skills on the island later this month while numerous schools
have enjoyed cricket and rugby tours to Barbados.
Other popular long haul destinations for clubs include
South Africa where Ryde School from the Isle of Wight
plan to combine their
cricket tour with the England 1-Day Test and a 3-day game reserve
visit.
Schools such as St Edwards and The George Ward School have experienced
trips to Canada combining their sports fixtures with trips to the CN
Tower and Niagara Falls.
Popular Short Haul tours have been enjoyed by Millfield
Preparatory School who traveled to Italy while Canford School visited
Malta for their netball tour and Chatham House enjoyed a weeks rugby
and white water rafting in Biarritz.
