The Black Mountains Welcome to the finest Mountain Riding in Wales.  The Black Mountains in the Brecon Beacons National Park are well established as one of the most popular riding areas in Wales. The varied and rugged Scenery; open commons and sheltered bridle paths are familiar to riders from all over Great Britain and Europe. Like much of central Wales they are ideal riding country. Old drovers tracks and paths lead along the steep-sided valleys. Whilst commons and flat-topped ridges provide for those who enjoy the occasional canter or gallop.

The Centre Young horse lovers will love the horses at our Cadarn Trail Riding Centre. A converted Farmstead with bunkhouse accommodation and first class facilities, with well equipped games room for evening activities etc. Cadarn Trail Riding Farm is ideal School and Youth Groups. It has accommodation for up to 45 guests. Free places are offered to group organisers. The accommodation is adjacent to the fields for games, campfires and scavenger hunts and the ponies graze overnight around the centre. Wales Tourist Board Approved 3 Star Bunkhouse Centre.
