We are proud
to announce that our scientific and graphic calculators are the number one
choice within the education sector with more than 1.6 million UK teenagers
using a Casio calculator in school, everyday. However, we constantly
strive to create new and exciting education solutions such as the ClassPad
300 which raise pupils’ levels of achievement.
As part of
our educational services, we provide a number of resources for teachers
and pupils to use in the classroom. These are found in our publication
‘G-Plus Active’ and can also be found in the ‘Resources’ area of our
website.
Throughout
the academic year, Casio can arrange all kinds of support for teachers and
pupils including Master Classes. The last Master Class was based in
Wolverhampton where a whole class of gifted and talented Year 9 maths
pupils met a fully qualified Casio G-Plus maths trainer on a Saturday
morning to investigate random numbers. A variety of Casio worksheets and
programs on the FX-9750GPLUS Graphic Calculator were used to enable the
pupils to understand random numbers and learn how to generate them and
display the results of a random number game using a Box and Whisker Plot.
