Entrance Mats …
protect interior floor surfaces and increase safety
There is an extensive choice when it comes to entrance mats and
entrance matting systems. In many instances, the benefits of entrance
mats are twofold; not only do they help protect interior floors from
dirty shoes, they can also reduce the risk of slipping on smooth floor
surfaces by absorbing moisture from pupils’ footwear. |

Joining its established
collection of loose lay entrance mats, which include popular Logomats,
Cotton-Plush, Dirt-Trapper, Waterhorse and Cobawash to name a few, are two
new entrance matting systems – Premier Plus and Premier Track.
Both Premier Plus and Premier Track are made from flexible PVC with a high
quality carpet insert. Premier Plus comprises tiles that clip together to
cover any desired area whereas Premier Track is available in rolls that
can be installed side by side. Both products are effective in scraping
dirt and moisture from shoes. They can be installed into foot wells and
are suitable for use with high heel shoes. Both Premier Plus and Premier
Track can be enhanced by the addition of Premier Grip, a flexible PVC
scraper mat suitable for outdoor use. The Premier range is ideal for busy
entrance or foyer areas with high levels of foot traffic.

Kitchen Mats … for a
serving of safety underfoot
Kitchen floors can be notoriously hazardous through spilt liquids,
food debris or cleaning fluids. Coba offers the perfect solution in
Kitchen Mat, a hygienic anti-microbial mat manufactured from 100%
nitrile.
The anti-microbial
properties inhibit the growth of bacteria and the mat has excellent
resistance to grease, oils, fats and detergents. The raised textured
surface provides grip underfoot and the open holes allow spilt liquids
to drain through below the mat’s surface. The mat can be cleaned in a
commercial washing machine. |

Leisure Mats … Fit
for the Job
A selection of mats is available from Coba for gymnasiums, swimming
pools and leisure centres. One recent addition is Flexi-Deck – a
flexible PVC tile ideal for use around swimming pools or in shower /
changing room areas. The tiles simply clip together to cover different
floor sizes and the holes allow water to drain through for a safe and
comfortable standing surface. |

Leisure Mat is another
choice for swimming pool or wet environments. Comfortable to walk on, even
barefoot, Leisuremat is available in a variety of colours and conforms to
Slip Resistance Test DIN 51097 Catergory B.
For school gym areas, Sport-Tile and Gym Mat are both popular choices.
Sport-Tile is an interlocking rubber mat that cushions the impact of
equipment and helps to reduce noise levels. The tiles are available in
middle, end or corner piece sections and can be linked together to fit any
floor area. Gym Mat is manufactured from 100% closed cell vinyl foam and
is excellent for protecting floors under CV equipment. Both Sport-Tile and
Gym Mat, with their textured surfaces, provide additional grip underfoot
in dry environments.
Flooring … in a Class of its Own
Coba now offers a collection of flooring products which include a
selection of rubber tiles or rolls; PVC interlocking tiles and carpet
tiles. From CE Approved Studded or Marble effect rubber floor tiles for a
durable, yet attractive floor surface in an array of colours to Tuff Tile
carpet tiles for heavy duty wear and tear, there is a product to suit from
Coba.

One of the latest new
products is Interlock flooring – an easy-fit interlocking PVC tile
system available in three stylish finishes – plain, studded and slate
– in a choice of six colours. Its unique interlocking ‘deck’ system
when linked together provides the finish of square-tile effect edges.

kitchens and class rooms.
