Focus Education, established in 1993, is a large and successful
educational organisation providing Resources, Training, Conferences,
Consultancy and Inspection Services to the Primary Educational sector.
It’s clients range from OFSTED, DFES, Local Education Authorities,
Educational Action Zones, Excellence in Cities and National and
International Schools. The head office is based in the North of England
but it has many consultants and speakers based all over the country.
Focus works closely
with a large number of schools on a short and long term basis to raise and
maintain high standards. With teachers from all over the country attending
it’s conferences and purchasing it’s literature Focus is now giving a
quality alternative for advice and support.

5 strands to the business; conferences, training, publications,

Conferences
Focus is currently one of the main training providers for primary
education throughout England. It currently runs over 150 conferences
and courses every year with over 7000 teachers and headteachers
attending our conferences annually.
We have an excellent reputation for providing good quality conferences
at competitive prices. All our delegates leave our conferences ‘fired
up’ and ‘inspired’, with an in-depth resource book that is often
commented on as ‘an excellent resource that can be used back in
school.’
Focus also runs over 50 in-house courses, workshops and twilights
every year at The Focus Education Centre. These are primarily aimed
at local schools from the neighbouring three local education
authorities, however, we quite often have teachers and headteachers
from all over the North West area. |

Training
Focus Education now has a large and well-established training department.
This training is endorsed by OFSTED who license Focus as a training
provider. All course tutors who carry out Focus training are well
qualified and professional, ensuring value for money and high quality

Focus
Education's publishing department has produced and is currently selling
over 30 publications available to schools and LEA's nationwide. This ever
increasing range of publications is available to buy online, by fax, phone
or post.

Consultancy
Focus Education has been providing In-service and consultancy for many
years. We have a large and varied database of consultants, all with
different specialisms who are very experienced in their area. These
consultants range from headteachers to Inspectors and Registered
Inspectors. They have all been handpicked to ensure they provide a quality
day’s in-service for your school.

We expect that our consultants are able to provide whatever training
the school may require. We aim to ensure that the school can take on
the good practice that has been shared with them, and that the
training for that school has reflected this. We are keen that the
consultant will take into consideration the background and
circumstances of the school when delivering in-service training, and
that it is
