Why Take a Gap Year?

A structured Gap year provides the opportunity to really experience a country by living and working with the local people rather than moving around with fellow travellers.

You can learn first hand about the culture and traditions and visit places that aren't mentioned in the guide books.

An advantage of volunteering abroad is that you can learn new skills whether it be leadership, problem solving or teamwork and gain experience in a chosen field of work, which can be beneficial when going on to higher education or employment.
