Matthews Holidays has specialised in affordable camping
holidays in France since 1967. The accommodation that we provide
is in static mobile homes that we own, and sited on good quality
French campsites which with the exception of two are 4*, have
swimming pools, waterslides, bars, shops, cooked meals service
and most are within a few minutes walk of sandy beaches. We know
what is important for a family holiday with young children and
we take pride in helping parents who are not familiar with this
type of holiday, to organise their travel, select the best
campsite for their needs, and answer any of the many questions
that they may have. We have campsites in
Brittany, the
Vendee,
Charente Maritime, Aquitaine & Languedoc Roussillon. Camping in
France is a very popular style of family holiday – France has a
large number of top quality campsites and a mobile home holiday
in France is great self-catering accommodation, particularly as
the campsites in France that we use all cater for families.

We know that it
is important for parents with school age children to avoid
taking their children out of school and so we always have
‘Special Offers’ during the July/August school holiday period
that are very good value. By booking early and taking advantage
of these Offers, parents can make considerable savings.

The majority of our holidaymakers drive to their destination and
our ferry inclusive rates will give you very good value and just
as importantly, with one telephone call we can book the mobile
home accommodation of your choice and your required ferry
crossings at the same time. We work with all the major ferry and
cross channel operators: P&O, SeaFrance, and Eurotunnel for the
port of Calais and Brittany Ferries and Condor Ferries for the
longer sea crossings to Cherbourg, Caen, St. Malo and Roscoff.
