Discover the
fascinating history of the capital and its people at the Museum of London.
Our galleries tell the story of London from prehistoric times to the
outbreak of WWI, with a wide variety of objects on display, ranging from a
giant aurochs skull to the Lord Mayor’s coach, and from the Great Fire
story to London’s first taxicab. Our temporary exhibition programme brings
the story up to date and tackles more contemporary subjects and issues.

informative talks by curators and experts and close up examination of the
Museum’s collections. Examples include:
