National Car Rental has a history
dating back to 1947 and has built a worldwide network of 3,200 locations
in 83 countries. In the UK, National is the market leader with the largest
rental fleet and over 145 locations to choose from – 83 of which also
offer vans. As the only car rental company in the UK to hire to 21 year
olds and over, students, teachers and indeed anyone needing transport for
weekends, holidays and business can benefit from renting a car or van from
National.
The National Fleet
National’s industry leading fleet of rental vehicles comprises over 40
models to choose from, many less than 6 months old. All vehicles are fully
maintained and serviced to manufacturers’ specifications and covered by
24-hour breakdown assistance and the majority of vehicles are equipped
with anti-lock braking systems (ABS) and airbags. The end result is that
you can travel in comfort and with peace of mind, no matter how long your
journey.
Our vehicles are divided into groups, from hatchbacks to estates and
people carriers, with a good choice of vehicles available in each group.
We can’t guarantee a particular model, but will provide you with a similar
model in the same group.
Alternatively if you would prefer to choose a specific vehicle from the
forecourt, our Choice service, available at London’s Heathrow airport is
the answer. With our revolutionary Choice service, customers can select
the exact model, specification and even the colour of their vehicle at the
point of rental. No other car rental company in the UK and Europe offers
this option.
