All About?

Overland and more particularly overlanding is a concept that has been
around in several guises for a number of years and basically allows people
whether travelling on their own, as a couple, with friends, or as a group to
experience and see different continents, countries and sights in a certain
space of time with transport, accommodation and meals provided.
This does
not mean however things will always go according to plan, the very regions we
travel through are an adventure in themselves. Many countries do not have the
western infrastructure that you will be used to, and as experienced and
organised as we are, things will not always go according to plan, so if you are
not prepared for this and want to be pampered on your holiday then maybe you
should think again... |

Overlanding
is something a little bit different from your normal holiday and can be
exciting, unpredictable and adventurous, but which will give you great
experiences and memories and get you to those out of the way places.
Oasis tours
range from 10 days up to 29 weeks in continents as diverse as Africa, Middle
East and South America. Our groups are made up of adventurous people from 18 to
35, from all walks of life and nationalities and who are seeking to experience
different cultures and regions, and do not mind the odd hiccup along the way,
but do not want the routine and luxury of a package holiday and have the
willingness to get stuck in and work as part of a team and have the enthusiasm
to explore and experience different regions, cultures and countries.

Therefore,
helping to cook over open fires, buy food from local markets, draw water from
wells, party, and participate in the unexpected are essential ingredients!
We have
designed several of our tours to start around the time of the mid-summer
holidays and thus allow students and teachers alike to participate in them.
