Ski le Gap, which was created in 1994 by
Beryl Puddifer, has universally set the standard for Ski and Snowboard
instructor programmes.

Ski le Gap, which has been running courses for 12 years, is based at
Mont- Tremblant, a beautiful national park in the French speaking
province of Québec, Canada. Through partaking in this gap year
opportunity, one will train with world-class coaches in the Mont-Tremblant,
which was voted the number one ski resort in Eastern North America for
five consecutive years.
The mountain, which dominates a strikingly beautiful countryside, is
perfectly suited for those who live for the great outdoors, and who have
an appreciation for nature. With 94 runs, serviced by 13
state-of-the-art lifts, 18 acres of ramps, rails and jumps as well as an
Olympic calibre super pipe, Mon- Tremblant is no doubt a utopia for ski
and snowboard enthusiasts.
In addition to the exceptional ski conditions of Mont - Tremblant, one
can also experience and enjoy cultural aspects of Québec, such as the
buzzing day and night life of the resort town, which has more
restaurants and bars per square foot than any other Québec town.

Ski le Gap which sets the standards for the one of the most highly
developed training programmes, has been training young skiers and
snowboarders to become instructors since 1994. Weekly videos, clinics,
seminars, technical lectures, individual daily goals and targets, ensure
that each student is stretched to reach their maximum potential.

Ski le Gap is the only snow school to offer such a wide variety of
training in teaching, freestyle, half-pipes and race coaching. One of
the many advantages of learning to ski on this course is the size of the
classes. As the class sizes are small, each participant will receive a
more than adequate amount of attention in order to cater for their
everyday needs.
The instruction at Ski le Gap is appropriate for both skiers and
borders. The aim of this course is therefore to maximize each student’s
ability and potential, as well as providing thorough preparation for
upcoming examinations.
Intensive instruction is given by top-level ski instructors from the
Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance (CSIA). In addition the average CSIA
pass rate is 60%; the pass rate for the Level 1 certificate at Ski le
Gap over the past ten years has been 100%. After completing this course,
qualified skiers have taught at ski schools in Europe, Australia, Canada
and the USA.
Ski le Gap is the only snow school to offer the opportunity to gain
qualifications. On average over 95% of participants gain 4 or more
qualifications.
Attainable qualifications include: CSIA Level 1, Level II and Level III,
CSCF Level 1 Coach, CADS Level 1 and CSIA Level 1.
