Volunteer's report of his placement in China: |
|
"[My Placement] has been the most fascinating and
rewarding experience of my life and I can't begin to tell you how much I
enjoyed my time there….
…..Fushan was wonderful - a slice of 'real' China -
and I made my friends in the town itself, from the women at the food stalls
in the market to the blokes I played pool with. Everybody was extremely
friendly…I have also made some friends for life in the teachers I was lucky
enough to work with. The teaching was great fun and the kids were
fantastic!!...
And just in case you think I'm being over-the-top
with my praise, let me add that I'm giving serious consideration to Mr Sun's
offer of returning to Fushan one day to join the payroll at either of the
two schools." Justin Davis, China
