4 Wheels was established in 1985 and soon became a leader in the learner driver field.  From the start, training aids, explanatory leaflets and audiotapes were used to help pupils learn quicker.  We can now offer (in most areas) male/female Instructors, manual or automatic tuition, disabled tuition (depending on the severity of the disability), motorway tuition, pass plus courses, etc, etc.

Your Safety

4 Wheels tuition vehicles are fitted with dual controls, dual mirrors and a 4 Wheels learner driver roof sign.  Our Instructors are registered with the Driving Standards Agency and all 4Wheels pupils receive a questionnaire.   

A few of the questions from the questionnaire are listed below.

• Are you happy with your Instructor and tuition vehicle?
• Is your Instructor courteous?
• Is the tuition vehicle clean, tidy and fitted with a 4Wheels roof sign?
• When you call the office are the staff courteous and helpful?

 If there is a problem we act immediately to ensure your safety and peace of mind.  We think all driving schools should do this.  As far as we know 4 Wheels is the only school that provides this service.

Pass First Time

A second test offer is available, subject to conditions, whereby 4 Wheels will pay for your second

practical test fee should you fail your first test with us, so you can be sure we will do our utmost to get you through first time.

Save Money Learn To Drive With Fewer Lessons

4 Wheels ‘Accelerated Learning Leaflets’ will be given to you on the appropriate lessons.  For example: If it was your first lesson covering controls, moving off and stopping you would be given our controls leaflet to take home to continue your studies.  These leaflets if used correctly help you to learn to drive quicker.  See testimonials on our web site.

Student Discount

Lesson prices for students, unemployed and senior citizens are discounted.  Extra discount is available when paying for ten lessons in advance.

Progress Reports

Appointment and progress report booklets are issued to all  4 Wheels pupils.  These are of great value to pupils who are receiving extra tuition with family or friends as they can see the areas that require more practice.

Theory & Hazard Awareness

Books, mock test papers and CD ROMs (highly  recommended) are available to purchase from our office, by post or via your 4 Wheels Instructor.
