About Blue Tree
Blue Tree was founded in 2001 to create and
market practical introduction courses and tasting party experiences, which
provide participants the opportunity to learn more about complex liquids,
such as wine and whisky, at a place and pace that suits them.

Liquid Learning
At the heart of all Blue Tree’s products is an innovative “liquid
learning” format, whereby participants listen to a CD recording and
perform a number of interactive tasting exercises using the samples
provided in the pack.

A Practical Introduction to Wine
If you really want to start learning about wine, but are put off by the
prospect of attending and committing to wine evening classes or reading
heavy wine books, then A Practical Introduction to Wine is for you. This
entertaining, user-friendly wine course enables you to learn about wine,
at home, via audio CDs, while drinking the good quality wine provided.
Each course includes comprehensive course material, six audio CDs and nine
half bottles of wine and consists of 14 tutored sessions, each lasting
around 1 hour. It is ideal for two to share.
The Wine Tasting Game
The Wine Tasting Game is a wine tasting experience designed to provide
party entertainment for up to six wine drinkers. Each experience is split
into two parts. The first part involves a tutored tasting based around a
specific wine and theme, where participants listen to a CD recording and
engage in a number of tasting exercises. The second part features an
entertaining game, in which players are challenged to answer correctly a
variety of tasting and trivia questions based around the remaining wines,
with a prize being included for the winner. A menu planner is provided for
those planning to serve food during the party and, to round off the party
entertainment, there are also some wine-related jokes featured at the end
of the CD.
About Experience No. 1
This was a limited edition and has now sold out.
About Experience No. 2
The main theme of the tutored tasting is learning how to taste and
evaluate wine. During the course of the experience some key grape
varieties are tasted and evaluated.
The Whisky Tasting Game
The Whisky Tasting Game is a whisky tasting experience designed to provide
party entertainment for up to five whisky drinkers. The format of this
tasting party experience is the same as for The Wine Tasting Game.
About Experience No. 1
The main theme of the tutored tasting is learning how to taste and
evaluate whisky. During the course of the experience two blended and two
single malt scotch whiskies are tasted and evaluated.
