A World of Crafts
Art & Craft is a fundamental activity which should be encouraged within
the learning environment and at home. Throughout the world people of all
nationalities are making crafts for everyday use, as essential tools, to
sell, or simply as a decoration or hobby. Many crafted items invented
centuries ago are still in modern day use, others are masterpieces. Where
would we be without the Sistine Chapel or Van Gogh's paintings or even
more down to earth, the hammer - or the violin? These are all examples of
how ideas can become reality from using the simple resources available to
everyone.

Resources
Today we are lucky to have a huge amount of resources to make
different things, as simple as a paintbrush and canvas, jewellery
making equipment, items to enhance or decorate such as wooden boxes,
blank cards, etc - on to clays and resins used for model making and
even waxes and wicks for candle making. These are the basics for
making crafts.
