Lawbooks Online is now in its fifth year, supplying books to law students and professionals alike in the UK and around the world via the Internet.
Most people do not have access to a specialist law bookshop, and those that do, can not always reach them during normal shopping hours.
Which is why we at Lawbooks Online have brought the bookshop to your desktop. From your desktop you can search through every title available, without the restrictions that bricks and mortar shops have on space and the corresponding restriction on the range of titles they can show.
The shop web site layout is being continuously refined through customer feedback to make it as easy as possible to find the book you are looking for and to make a secure purchase.
The shop uses the Whitaker bibliographic database, the leading source of book information in the UK and is updated every month to provide you with the most accurate data available.
All search functions are on the Home page and are always in view. Book information will always appear in the centre section of the page. This allows you to continue searching from the same place without having to go to a separate search page, as with other web sites.
We have tried to make the Lawbooks shop layout reflect that of a bricks and mortar shop. As in a shop, the books are arranged under subjects. You can use the
'Browse Subject' if you just want to see what books are available on a given subject. The tabs at the top of the page have selected listings, and with the search function on the right hand column you can search for a specific book by author, ISBN, title or key word.
For law students the tabs at the top will be of great benefit as they contain the reading lists for the major law exams to make it easier to find the relevant books for your course.
All the textbooks are discounted 10%.
There will be additional tabs with a range of books on a variety of subjects and topical issues such as
Human Rights, Medical, Criminal and EU Law. The lists will provide a selection of new and best sellers on each topic.
There is also a 'New Titles' section, which is updated every month with the latest books arranged under subject headings for easy reference. A Book of the Month is selected every month that will have broad appeal and is
discounted 15%.
