Macs in my School
If your school doesn't have a technician, or your ICT co-ordinator hasn't
the time or the expertise to implement all your ICT demands, we can fill
that gap. Macs in my School is a London-based company working mainly in
the South East of England. We install, set up and administer computers and
networks so you can use them in the way you want.

Every member of our
team has extensive experience in education and ICT. Our service is
intended to be flexible and comprehensible, provided by regular
contracts (long or short term) or individual visits by arrangement. We
train and support a nominated member of staff who is our main point of
contact for the day-to-day running, keeping in touch with us by phone,
email or text messaging. |

Apple computers are
universally acknowledged for their ease of use, stylish good looks and
reliable operating system as well as their immunity from the viruses that
plague other commercial computer systems. They are at the heart of all our
installations.
Remote administration
We specialise in remote administration so can support clients anywhere
within the South of England. Using a secure internet connection and the
system we have designed based on standard commercial software, we can
manage your whole network from our Purley office. The advantages of this
are that troubleshooting can often be carried out instantly upon request;
and routine maintenance, such as system updates, software installation and
data backups can run during periods when the school is closed, or if the
computer is inaccessible for any reason. Furthermore, though miles away,
we can support you by demonstrating how to do something on your own
computer, or doing it for you. More complex problems will obviously
require a site visit but we aim to keep these to a minimum.

Networking

Our experienced network
team can install wired or wireless networks. Most of our installations
are a mixture of both, depending on the site. Report preparation
software. We have written this so that it can be used on your school's
computers or taken home by staff to use on any Mac or PC. The prepared
files are collated and printed centrally back at school. The basic
software is free from our website and can be customised by the client
or by our programmer. |

No-nonsense websites
In response to a need for simple websites that are quick to load and easy
to maintain we have several clients who employ us.
Digital imaging courses
We have run many successful day and week-long courses for children (and/or
parents) for creating, filming and editing videos and stop-frame
animations.
Computer rooms

Over the years we have
designed and implemented a number of computer suites, converted from
some very unpromising areas, so we know the problems. We have recently
teamed up with a company which designs and builds benching and chairs
which complement the computers. |

experienced teachers who advise on an appropriate range of software
