was discovered by Thomas Robson, in Morpeth,
Northumberland.
Abbey Well comes from a single, naturally protected,
source and has been naturally filtered through water
bearing white sandstone for at least 3000 years.
It is drawn from a naturally protected source which
is an artesian well, 117.5metres deep. Abbey Well
comes up under its own hydrostatic pressure to
50metres below the surface. There is a stainless
steel pump at 62metres connected by an unbroken
stainless steel pipe, which pumps the water directly
to the bottling hall where it is bottled. So you see
that ABBEY WELL® is bottled at source.
