Housed in Regents Park in Central London, the London Zoo is easily accessible by public transport.
There are over 500 different species of animal housed at ZSL’s London Zoo. These 500 species include monkeys, lions, tigers, giraffes, camels, penguins, parrots, to name a few, lots of reptiles and of course the Aquarium.
 
New attractions are the Gorilla Kingdom and Rainforest Lookout.

The Mayor of London is supporting state schools in the capital through funding free visits to London Zoo and subsidising ZSL’s new Outreach programme to schools.

ZSL’s new Educational Outreach programme
ZSL London Zoo comes to you! With their new Outreach programme, their presenters will deliver fun and interactive sessions using images, bio-facts and even live animals!

In this exciting new programme at ZSL London Zoo, sponsored by the Mayor of London, ZSL is able to visit state schools in many London boroughs.

ZSL’s Primary School programme
is designed for Foundation and Key Stage1 and 2. Exiting and stimulating lessons have been designed to fuel children’s imagination. For full details click here
